The Red Art Gallery in Oak Bay and award winning West Coast artist Marion Evamy are proud to support United Way’s Raise the Red. Marion has created 20 hand-painted, limited edition prints for Raise the Red and she and the gallery will be donating over 50% of the proceeds to United Way. The prints will go on sale at the Raise the Red Gallery launch and reception on Feb 2, 2016 (by invitation only). There are two sizes and styles of prints available, a 10” x 10” for $395 and a 14” x 11” for $495. $200 from the sale of each 10” x 10” print and $300 from the sale of each 14” x 11” print will be donated to the United Way.
In addition, the Red Art Gallery has also agreed to donate 20% of the value of any of Marion’s other artwork in the gallery, which is sold during the reception, as well as 10% of the value of any of her gallery works sold during the month of February to the Raise the Red campaign.
“We partnered with the United Way because their reach is broad and diverse in whom they help, which parallels our mandate for philanthropy. They are a well-established and highly regarded organization. Plus, we enjoy working with the enthusiastic, accessible, and organized people which are leading the campaign,” says Marion Evamy and Bobb Hamilton from the Red Art Gallery.
