United Way’s new application for funding is now available. Registered charities committed to changing lives and building community are invited to apply.

United Way funds a strong and stable network of programs and services that help vulnerable people reach their full potential. Proposals will be consider within our three priority areas:

All that kids can be – supporting kids and youth with resources to grow up healthy and transition into adulthood

From poverty to possibility – building individuals’ financial stability and independence through access to healthy food, affordable housing and employment

Strong communities – developing the capacity of people to care for themselves and families by creating opportunities and places for social interaction

Application are due on Thursday, December 4, 2014, 2:00 pm Pacific Time. Those awarded funding will receive support beginning on April 1, 2015.
