A crowd of over 200 supporters gathered at United Way’s Spirit Awards Luncheon on April 21 at the Fairmont Empress to celebrate the achievements of the many workplaces, individuals and volunteers that helped make United Way’s 2014 campaign such a success. Together $5.7 Million was raised for the community and to fund a network of services dedicated to assisting individuals, families, youth and children in need throughout Greater Victoria. The awards included 74 nominees, 32 finalists and 13 award recipients.
