In April 2014, a group of young professionals from an emerging web development company called Leap painted a vision to breathe new life into United Way’s website. After many discussions about the site navigation, page design, content and photos, Leap turned the switch on United Way’s new website just in time for their 2014 campaign kick off in September.
Since that time, United Way has received positive feedback about the look and navigation from donors and supporters. When asked who designed their site, United Way proudly recommends the work of Leap.
“From our first meeting with United Way to discuss their website to our latest partnership on SpiritFest, the organization’s passion and dedication to making a difference in Greater Victoria is evident and contagious. They have strong values which align with our own. They care about the long-term outcomes of the communities they help and specifically, the individuals of those communities,” says Neil Tran, owner of Leap.
With such client satisfaction, a year later, United Way enlisted the talents of Leap once again to create their online impact calculator showcasing the reach donor dollars have throughout the region.
Catapulting into 2016, United Way and Leap have expanded their partnership from the online world to real time with Leap as their SpiritFest event sponsor.
“After hearing the stories of how United Way has effected real change in the lives of children, families and communities, we were inspired to build a larger partnership with this great cause. We are proud to sponsor SpiritFest celebrating the efforts of over 250 unique workplaces and their employees, managers and senior executives that helped raise valuable funds for those in need through United Way.”
