United Way Campaign Chair Greg Conner today announced the Greater Victoria Community Campaign reached the half way mark when donations topped $3,150,000 million dollars. The $6.3 million community campaign is now in the final weeks of raising the remaining $3,150,000 million.
“Raising money for our community is truly a team effort, and as we pass the halfway mark we have to keep the momentum going. If you are in a workplace that doesn’t have a campaign or want to contribute as an individual, it’s not too late! When you give to United Way you strengthen our community and you become part of the team that is making a difference to so many people” said Conner.

United Way of Greater Victoria has raised over $124 million in the past seventy four years. In 2011, the United Way distributed funds to 69 funded community partners who deliver 132 programs and services to families and individuals of all ages living in all parts of Greater Victoria and the Gulf Islands.
