$31K raised for the Little Phoenix Daycare

Women United hosted a zoom social on Monday, October 19 in support of the Little Phoenix Daycare. Through ticket sales, an online auction, and individual donations, more than $31,000 was raised for the Daycare. Funds raised will go towards finishing construction of the daycare space, furnishing the facility and filling the shelves with books and toys.

Together with long-term community partners, Family Services of Greater Victoria and the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society, this Daycare will help children who have faced or are facing trauma or adversity.
